Privacy notice

Who we are

HarVaré is a Johannesburg-based strategy and experience practice and the responsible party for personal information collected through harvare.co.za. For any question or request about your information, email laicosmedia@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• The enquiry form. Your name, company, email address and what you tell us about your project. We use it only to reply and to talk through the work. Web3Forms, a form delivery service, passes it to our inbox.
• WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button prepares a message on your own device. We receive it only if you choose to send it, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy then applies.
• Email. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can respond and carry out any work that follows.
• Analytics, only if you agree. Google Analytics uses cookies to record which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and their approximate location and device type. We use it to understand how people find the site, never to identify you.
• Hosting. Cloudflare serves this website and may log technical details such as your IP address to keep it secure.

We do not sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

Where it is processed

Web3Forms, Cloudflare, Google and our email provider may process information on servers outside South Africa. We use them because they protect information to a standard comparable with POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to deliver any work that follows, and then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to analytics. Email laicosmedia@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator.
