Legacy Gifting
Translating brand values into enduring artefacts that serve as tactile reminders of an experience.

The challenge
A firm wanted to thank the people who had shaped a defining year. Previous gifts had been generous and instantly forgotten. The problem was meaning: the object needed to say something specific about the year and the person.
The insight
An object is remembered when its material carries the message. Choosing the material first — and letting the form follow — made the gift an argument rather than a token.
The idea
A small artefact in a material chosen for what it does over time, presented with a short narrative that explained why. The reveal was designed as a moment in itself, not an afterthought.
The outcome
The gifts were kept, displayed and asked about. The programme has since become an annual ritual.
